I want to extend my prayers and condolences to the family. I knew Mr. and Mrs. Bell through ADK. Mr. Bell was faithful to bring Joyce to our meetings. She rarely missed one, and was a hoot when we planned games. We have lost a precious couple.

Joyce despite all her ailments was always smiling and offering comfort to others. She loved being secretary to our Sunday school class. She will be missed for sure. The Bell family can take comfort in the fact she was a wonderful godly person to know.

I was Blessed to have such a wonderful mother-in-law. I will miss her so much but I have all the wonderful memories and treasure and hold them close to my heart forever. I loved when I’d get a call from her needing me to come over. I know she knew how much I loved her and that I’m grateful for, and knowing she is with her Heavenly Father and her Sweetheart gives me great pleasure. I love you Mom and thank you for letting me have your wonderful son!

To Joyce's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I taught with Joyce at Westlawn from 1966 to 1970, and again from 1980 to 1984. We were members of the same church, and we were both Student Council Sponsors during my 10 years at Pine Street, 70 to 80. I considered her and Bob good friends, and outstanding educators. My condolences, may she rest in peace.

Remember many fun and happy times with Joyce Bell.
We were both active members of Alpha Delta Kappa and attended an International ADK Convention together in New Orleans; worked with her husband, Dr. Bob Bell, at TX High and enjoyed teaching their daughter, Beth, in Home
Economics Cooperative Ed at THS. Love and condolences to her surviving family.
