

Joyce was a devoted mother, sister, friend, who made everyone feel special. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
For 45 years, Joyce built a respected career in finance, earning the admiration of colleagues and clients through her integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
She loved traveling, reading mystery novels, dancing, and fishing, and treasured every opportunity to spend time with family and friends.
Above all, Joyce's greatest joy was her loving son, Brandon. She is survived by Brandon; her sisters, Janet Starr, Sharon Gilbert, and Stacey Rodgers; extended family; and many dear friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Monroe Prudhome and Donna Mae Prudhome, and her brother, Oscar Monroe Prudhome Jr.
Joyce will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. While she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched and in the love she leaves behind.
A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Sunday, August 2, at 3:30 p.m. at East Funeral Home, 2807 Moores Lane, Texarkana, Texas officiated by Rev. Daniel Bramlett. Family and friends are invited to honor her life and celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Texarkana Animal League.
