

Joyce Kay Tobey, 82, of Texarkana, TX passed away May 6, 2016 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Tobey was born December 8, 1933 in Muskogee, OK. She was retired from the U. S. Attorneys Office - Eastern District of Oklahoma and had also worked at Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Social Security Administration; member of the ESA - Sorority; First Baptist Church - Moores Lane where she was a member of the Tuller Sunday School Class and Senior Adult Choir.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Tobey of Texarkana, TX; sons, Dr. Edward Tobey and his wife, Vicky of Texarkana, TX and Alexander Tobey and his wife, Linda of Arlington, TX; sister, Paula Sue Latshaw of Dallas, TX; grandsons, Aaron and Ashlie Tobey of Texarkana, TX, Nathan Tobey and Sara Coopwood of Dallas, TX and Galen and Audrey Tobey of Norfolk, VA; granddaughter, Adrian Tobey of Texarkana, TX and Clay and Vivian Vannatter; and four great grandsons, Julian Tobey, Edison Tobey and John Tobey and Noah Vannatter; Nieces; Jana Reishus of Dallas, Texas and Nikki Hawkins of Dallas, Texas.
Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2016 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, OK under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the funeral home.
