Kenneth Elwyn Allen

Kenneth spent most of his life in Texarkana but resided in Paris, Arkansas where he enjoyed

the company of a caring professional staff who welcomed him daily into the routines of their

work. Although unable to articulate all that he felt, his thoughts and emotions were always

expressed in smile, laughter and caring eyes. Kenneth lived a life of being surrounded by those

who loved him and in response gave love back freely to everyone he encountered. His love of

boats, trains, airplanes and trucks were always evident. When able, he attended Christ

Methodist Church, where he was fond of everyone’s acceptance, love, the music, and the

fellowship of Christ.

Kenneth is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Allen, his two brothers Timothy Allen (Kellie) of Ridgefield, WA, Gregory Allen of Las Vegas, NV, two nieces, three nephews, two great nieces and three great nephews.

Visitation will be 9 October, from 2:00-4:00PM at East Funeral Home, 602 Olive St. Texarkana, TX.

Graveside services will be held 10 October at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Brady Crawford officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
