Kennith "Mitch" Butler, Jr., age 53, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Hutto, TX. Mitch was born April 17, 1968 in Collins, MS. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a route driver for American Tire Company. Mitch was preceded in death by his father, Kennith Mitchell Butler, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Shelia "Fricks" Butler of Texarkana, TX; daughter, April "Butler" Cisneros and husband Nicholas of Texarkana, TX; step-daughters Kristen Hubbard and husband, Sammy of Wasilla, AK and Kayla Garcia and husband Michael of Hutto, TX; sister, Kim Kennedy and her husband, Scott of Texarkana, TX; mother, Patsy Butler of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Ethan, Blaize, Luke and Mila Garcia; and nieces and nephews, Ashley Warwick, Courtney Dawson and Matthew Kennedy. Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, November 6, 2021 at East Memorial Chapel with Jerry Monholland officiating. Burial will be in Genoa Central Church of Christ Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown. Family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Friday, November 5, 2021 at the funeral home. I'm so sorry to hear that we lost Mitch. He and I were in the Navy together, and I had lost touch with him over the years -- but so many fond memories remain. And because I had lost touch with him, I didn't realize that in this small world, he'd married my beautiful cousin Sheila. I'm so happy that you found each other, and I wish that you'd had more time together. You're both amazing. My deepest condolences to the Butler and Fricks families. I wish I could be there with you.
