After Harding, he attended University of Arkansas Medical School to become a physician while also playing semi-pro basketball and baseball. Remembering Dr. Peebles as a good man and fair boss. I had worked for him when he was at Glen Oaks Clinic so many years ago. I will always appreciate his good advise on my career change to nursing as well as financial loan direction on achieving my goal.
May his family find peace and comfort with positive memories of his life.
My Condolences to his family.

Larry and Tish were so dear to Jay and I. We always enjoyed speaking to them at church. Larry and Tish were wonderful to Leanne and Macy. They were special and they will be missed by many. Prayers that by remembering all the wonderful times your sadness will be a little less.

God bless,

Larry was special in oh so many ways to our family. He was an inspiration and an example to all he met.He was a strong and steady guide for his family and as a leader in the church.Larry let his light shine where ever he went and all were equal .His door as well as his heart was always open to anyone.I know he will live on through his family and friends who cherished him.May God bless all of you and may the path he forged be yours also.

I went to school with the Peebles boys all my life. They were smart and I remember Larry playing basketball too. I actually knew their parents also. They were a great family to know.

I met Larry in 1959 shortly after arriving on Harding’s campus. He and my future husband , Herman, were close friends.

In 1960, Herman & I were in Larry & Tish’s wedding. In the following years, we visited them often at their present home. We always felt welcome and appreciated for making the trip.

We loved them and will miss them. Driving through Texas won’t be the same.

Love, Karen

He was like a brother to me and my sisters plus the Wright girls . We grew up together here in Saratoga and have so many memories with the Peebles boys . Miss Peebles would let us have paper wads fights in the house but we never cleaned the mess up she made the boys do it played games ate pop corn . I wish I could write a book about the fun times we had . God bless his family you have lost a great man . We are praying for you love to all .
