

It is with extreme sadness that the family of Lucy Lee (Prickett) Campbell announces her passing after a lengthy battle with cancer. Lucy died Sunday, May 16th, 2010, at her Texarkana, Texas home surrounded by her husband and children.
Lucy was born on May 7, 1932 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and as a teenager moved with her family to California. It was there that she met and married her husband of 60 years, Jack Campbell. Jack and Lucy had many great adventures, including raising their 6 children, owning a thoroughbred horse farm in Arkansas and fishing side-by-side commercially for lobsters in the Pacific Ocean.
Lucy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jack Campbell of Texarkana, TX, daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Lee Stewart of Lakeville, MA, Ellen (Kelli) and Glen Scarborough of Texarkana, AR, and Marlene (Mimi) Campbell-McDaniel and Ellis McDaniel of Fouke, AR; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Danielle Campbell of Vista, CA, and Wayne and Sonya Campbell of McCaskill, AR. Lucy was preceded in death by her son Pete Campbell. Lucy will also be missed by her 11 grandchildren; Carolyn Tubman, Donna Dach, John Campbell, Rebecca Hampton, Adorah Campbell, Cody Campbell, Justin Gregory, Laken Scarborough, Lindee Scarborough, Samantha McDaniel and Ethan McDaniel; as well as 12 great grandchildren with one on the way.
Services will be 2pm this afternoon, May 19th, 2010, at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane officiated by a family friend, J.T. Calhoun and Pastor Todd Hervey. Internment will follow at East Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, AR.
There is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled, the World’s Greatest Wife and Mother will forever be missed.
