Margaret Frances Thomas

Margaret was born December 16, 1938, in Magnolia, Arkansas. She was a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church and spent most of her life as a resident of Texarkana, Arkansas.

She previously worked as an executive assistant for the Miller County Judge's office, and at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company. She was also co-owner of Thomas Body Shop Inc.

Margaret loved painting, sewing, singing, and playing the organ.'

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Thomas, one son, Robert Ramsey, and one sister Hazel Greene.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Mercedes Ramsey of Fort Worth Texas, two granddaughters, Breanne Bloxom of New Boston, Texas, Britni Powell of Bossier City, LA., two great grandsons, Landon and Jaxson Bloxom, two great granddaughters, Adalyn and Iyla Powell, cousins Trish Norsworthy of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Donna Easley of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday July 1, 2025 at East Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday prior to service at 11:00.
