She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mitchell; and her parents, Dr. H. S. and Mable Gessner.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha Lynch of Texarkana, AR; sister, Alice Kowzic of Texarkana, AR; grandchildren, Kenneth Valente of San Antonio, TX, Jonathon Valente of San Antonio, TX, Margo Lynch of Laport, IN and Megan Lynch of Laport, IN.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
