Marshall retired from Red River depot after 30 years of service there. Marshall was a veteran served in the U. S Army. He was a talented wood carver and loved being in nature.
He was Preceded in death by his son Robert Franklin. His mother Marian Wright Scott and his father Bascom Lyle Parsons.
Surviving family is his son Chris Franklin, grandson Forrest Franklin, his niece Laura Corbett, nephew Michael Franklin Jr, and nephew David Franklin, and brother Michael Franklin sr.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
