Martha Richardson, 66, passed away November 19, 2020 at her home in Texarkana, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Caribou, Maine on November 20, 1953, daughter of the late Patrick and Mabel Brissette. Martha was a beautician and worked out of her home in Van Buren, Maine before moving to Texarkana, Texas in 1994 where she went on to teach others and then open her own salon. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her children Jessica & Nicholas and grandchildren, thrift shopping with her sister, Barbara, and going on cruises with her husband, JR, and their Arklahomatex Corvette Club family. Martha will be extremely missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know and love her.
She is survived by her loving husband, JR Richardson. Her children Jessica (Aaron) Howe, Nicholas (Andrea) Levesque, Dustin (Leslie) Richardson, Kimberly (John) Shinski, Laci Hankins; numerous grandchildren including Katelyn (Ethan), Tristan, Mackenzie, Aaron, Hunter, Jake, Hunter, Nick and Logan; siblings Arnold Brissette, Barbara (Greg) Hughes, sister in law Lisa Brissette and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Arthur Brissette and Michael Brissette.
Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22nd, 2020 at Church on the Rock with Pastor John Miller officiating.

I feel so blessed to have met Marti. Spending the last couple of weeks I will remember always. She is one of the human beings that touch your heart and forever makes an impression. She will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with J.R. And her entire family. I can never thank y’all enough for sharing her with me.

It always brought a smile to my face to hear Marti say”thats my J.R”. She loved her husband, family, friends and Corvettes. We’ll pay our respects to Marti and her beautiful life for one last ride together celebrating a lovely lady which left an imprint on our hearts!
