Mary Kathern Bunting

Kathern Bunting, 88, of Redwater, TX passed away in a local hospital on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Mrs. Bunting was born August 29, 1929 in Bowie County, TX. She was a member of Red Springs First Baptist Church and retired from Christus St. Michael Health Center.

Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jack Bunting.

She is survived by a daughter Elizabeth Rosenbaum of Hope, AR; granddaughter Kathryn Bilimek of Maud, TX; three great-granddaughters Kara Boone of Redwater, TX, Kaitlynn and Kami Wells of Maud, TX; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters Kay Stovall and Mary Alice Anderson both of Nash, TX; special cousin Janis Britt of Redwater, TX and special niece Jacqulyn Clanton of Bradley, AR; plus many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Doug Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dierksen Memorial Hospice.
