Mary Thomasene "Tommie" Chapman

Mary Thomasene "Tommie" Chapman, 76 of Texarkana, Texas passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 in a local hospital. Mrs. Chapman was born July 22, 1935 in Arkadelphia, AR. She is a member of Westside Church of Christ. Mrs. Chapman retired from Collom and Carney Clinic after 33 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her husband L.C. Chapman.

Survivors are three daughters and sons-in-laws Suzan and Steve Rogers of Wake Village, TX, Rebecca Brumley of Texarkana, AR., Mary and Derek Dwight of Texarkana, TX; one brother Bob Ewing of Texarkana, AR; five grandchildren Jonathan Rogers of Wake Village, TX., Trey Bennett of Texarkana, TX., Katie Bennett of Texarkana, TX., Mackenzie Brumley of Texarkana, AR. and Dalton Dwight of Texarkana, TX; Plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Mr. Steve McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in East Memorial Gardens under direction of East Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 P.M.
