She was preceded by two husbands, Charles Aubrey Briggs and James Arlon Watson; a niece, Ruby Una Miller Brown.

Mary Ella is survived by a daughter, Ruby L. Briggs Jones (Denton), a granddaughter, Setha Mari Jones Flieder (Bobby2); grandson, Col. Guy M. Jones (Debbie), great grandchildren, Vincent Flieder, Kym Dickens, Joshua Flieder, Dakota Star Flieder, Emily and Mitch Jones; sister, Amy Iris Miller; nieces - Carol, Doris, Jean, Gail an Denise Hernandez (Robert); sister, Velda Morrison; 5 nieces and a nephew; brother, Gary Lathrop (Frances) nieces, Karen and Sharon; brother, Ed Lathrop (JoAn) niece, Teresa Hammer (Rick); brother, Bobby Lathrop (Harolyn) niece, Loretta; a special friend, Gracie Phillips; and a number of extended family and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Visitation will be Saturday from to 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Gideons or Mexican Mission at Northern Hills Baptist Church.
