Mary "Juanita" Owens

Mary "Juanita" Owens, 85 of Genoa, AR passed away on Monday January 17, 2022. She was born on October 4, 1936 in Miller County, AR. Mrs. Owens was homemaker and Baptist. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Archie Frost and Harold Frost and a sister, Lorene Hyman. Survivors include her husband of 66 years Billy Owens of Genoa, AR; three daughters, Deborah Johnson of Genoa, AR, Betty Greger of Austin, TX and Barbara Hall of Louisville, MS; son, Carl Owens of Genoa, AR; sister, Bobbie Lawson of Cedar Creek, TX; brother Floyd Frost of Nash, TX; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside service will 2pm Monday, January 24, 2022 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown. Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the funeral home Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Fund.
