Mary Jean Perot

Mary Jean Perot, 89, of Texarkana,TX passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Dallas, TX. She was born on November 11, 1925 in Ringgold, LA. Mrs. Perot was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church.

Mrs. Perot attended nursing school in New Orleans, LA and was awarded a Registered Nursing degree. She had a total of 35 years experience in nursing including 10 years as Director of Nursing and OB Nurse at St Michaels Hospital, followed by 21 years in the Arkansas Department of Health as Home Health Specialist-R.N. where she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Perot and her son Robert Michael Perot.

Survivors include son, Patrick Thomas Perot of Dallas, TX, three grandchildren , Toni Perot Nash and husband Christian of Austin, TX, Joseph Michael Perot and wife Debi of Frisco,TX, and Stephen Mark Perot and wife Elizabeth of Austin, TX: six great grandchildren, Jett Nash, Fynn Nash, Chandler Perot, Carson Perot, Cole Perot and Presley Perot; sister Melba Roberts of Minden, LA; brother and sister-in-law Jim and Margaret Davis of Seattle, WA. and five nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Saturday, December 20, 2014 at St Edwards Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Worm officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

Rosary will be recited at 6pm, Friday December 19, 2014 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane with visitation to follow from 6:30pm to 8pm.
