So very sad! We went to Baseline Missionary Baptist Church together during elementary and junior high school years, and were school mates in junior high and high school. Mona was one of my best friends in eight grade. She was very smart and a good friend. I'm praying for you all . . .

Mona was a very special lady. She was wonderful at heart and spirit. It was my pleasure to get to know Mona through physical therapy 2 times. My heart goes out to her family through this difficult time. Just know that Mona is in no more pain and is resting peacefully now.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Mona. We go back years and years. Played ball together. Had big dreams together and spent most of our summer hours hanging out riding bikes and chatting in her room or mine. May GOD help heal you all in this terrible time. Mona my friend thanks for all the wonderful memories. I love you and look forward to the day when we all get to see you again.
