Norman Joseph Lash

1937-2024

Norman J. Lash, 86, of Texarkana, TX passed away January 31, 2024 with his loving wife by his side.

Born and raised in Denville, N.J. to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Lash. He was one of two boys, his brother Gerry proceeded him in death. He served in the United States Marines after graduating and was honorably discharged. He was a volunteer firefighter in the Main Street Volunteer Fire Department.

Norman had three children, Tracy (John) Dice, David Lash (deceased), April (Terry) Brooke. Three grandchildren, Chelsea (deceased), James, and Hunter and one great-grandchild Trenton.

While working at the Post Office he studied and became an electrician.

He retired as a Journeyman electrician in California. He had the joy of golfing on some famous courses, including St.Andrews. He attended the Master’s one year too! He also enjoyed cycling. Norman and Alica enjoyed many years of traveling in their R.V. to different states and Mexico.

Norman will be very missed by his wife Alica, his family and many friends.
