She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Alford; parents, John and Marion Cummings; and one brother, Jack Cummings.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Ronny Nantze of Texarkana, AR and Vikki and Kevin DuPree of Texarkana, TX; four grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Jaime Smith and husband, Shane, Dustin Bradshaw and Joseph DuPree; two great grandchildren, Hayden Hart and Chance Smith; three great great grandchildren, Kruz Hart, Kalia Hart and Emilia Hart; a special niece, Kate Lavelle; and other nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tony Burrow officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
The family has requested that all those attending the service follow COVID precautions and wear face coverings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Texarkana.
