Patricia "Pat" Brooks

Mrs. Brooks was born February 6, 1934 in Hope, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and retired from Commercial National Bank. Mrs. Brooks was also a life time member of St. Edwards Catholic Church a member of the Altar Society and Rosary Makers. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Catherine Fowler, her sister; Frances Ann Long and her brother; F.E. "Sonny" Fowler Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years Orville Brooks of Texarkana ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Danny Poole of Texarkana and Rebecca and Dannon McCullough of Texarkana. Mrs. Brooks is also survived by her 6 granddaughters, Diane Johnson of Redwater Tx, Amanda Burt of Maud, Texas , Rebecca Nipper of Texarkana, Melanie Larsen of Bixby, Ok, Misty Cooper of Bixby, Ok and Shasta Poole of Joplin,Mo and her two grandsons; Allen Cummings of Texarkana and Judah McCullough of Texarkana and 22 great grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law; Wade and Carolyn Fowler of Texarkana and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15th, 2016 at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Father Paul Worm and Deacon David Fowler officiating.

Burial will follow in Calvary cemetery.

Rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Thursday July 14th, 2016 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane with visitation to follow.
