Aunt Pat, one of the strongest, most loving, and coolest women I have ever met. I showed up on her doorstep one day after so many years, practically a stranger and she took me in and shared with me some of the most precious treasures possible: love and memories about John, Irene & Dana with whom she shared her birthday. Her generosity of heart was a powerful thing and I so grateful to have experienced it. I’m very sorry to say goodbye and would rather say I love you and thank you to her and her wonderful girls.

Pat told me about when she hugged Mariah Robertson’s father,
Dana, when he was crying because he lost both of his parents in an accident when he was twelve years old. All of the rest of his family members told him to act like a man and not cry. Pat thought this was cruel and, instead, went to his room and hugged him while he cried for their loss.

Unfortunately, Dana, Mariah’s father, died when she was four years old so she didn’t get a chance to know him. Pat was so welcoming when Mariah decided to reach out to all of her father’s extended family to try to get to know him.

Pat is one of the most caring people I have ever known and will miss seeing her again.

Regards,

Mary Robertson-Kay

My family shared many good times with Pat. I enjoyed many cups of coffee and long conversations about an extremely wide range of subjects. Pat’s deep love for her family, friends and co-workers was unconditional. She was a highly intelligent, successful, gracious, kind and empathetic lady loved by many and will be forever missed by all those whose lives she touched. I for one, consider myself fortunate to have known her well enough to call her my dear friend. Rest In Peace, Patricia, and continue to watch over us.

Your mom was such a ray of sunshine at our many “girls day out” luncheons and swim meets. She was always positive and supportive. She was so proud of each of her kids, and especially her grandsons ... I will miss sharing our birthdays (her’s just a day before mine) and hearing her stories. Love to the whole family ...Kathy, Liz, and Rusty Anglin
