Purl Deahl Knight

Purl Deahl Knight, age 90, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at her home. Purl was born March 30, 1932 in Elkhart, Indiana. She was a homemaker and a longstanding member of Highland Park Baptist Church since 1968. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband Owen Knight Jr. Survivors include her two sons; Thom Owen Knight and Bill Knight. two daughters; Mickey Thompson and Anne Saqer. Also left to cherish her memory are her brother and sister-in-law Tim and Caroline Deahl, and her 3 sisters and brothers-in-law; Jo Ward, Pauline and Charles Green and Katherine and Jerry Wheat, and 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Tim Deahl officiating. Come and go viewing will be Monday, May 30th, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
