Rafael Cabrera, 90, of Texarkana, TX passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born on December 15, 1924 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church as well as a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII.
Mr. Cabrera is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Cabrera, daughter, Gloria I. Otero, and son Felix Cabrera.
Survivors included son-in-law, Dr. Rafael Otero of Texarkana, TX; daughter-in-law Mildred Cabrera of Texarkana, TX; 8 grandchildren, Antonio Otero, Javier Otero, Emmanuel Otero, Jose Cabrera, Mildred Cabrera, Maria Cabrera and Rosa Cabrera and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Adams officiating.
Cremation to follow under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
