Randall was an amazing man. Everything he did, he did full heartedly & selflessly. Randall will always be the most logical person I'll ever met. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He will be deeply missed.

Randall was a great brother and I will miss him so much. I have many great memories of growing up together - I was so excited to have a baby brother (at least that's what Mom and Dad tell me, since I was only 2). But I know I've loved Randall as long as I can remember and I'm so proud of him. He fought hard, and I'm glad he's not in pain any more.

Randall was the best brother in law and uncle that anyone could be blessed with. He not only was our friend, but treated our whole family like we were important, and always made us feel welcome. He was good to our kids, and good to us. He will be greatly missed, and is always in our hearts. He was one of a kind, and he is in a better place.

Randall, You will missed forever. You were a wonderful husband, step-father, nurse and friend. You always had my back no matter what the circumstances. You always told me that you would treat me like a queen and you always kept your word. The world has lost a wonderfully amazing person and Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel. I love you and miss you so much!! Your wife, Lori (Sugar)

I tell people that Randall “saved my life” and that I couldn’t have ever made it without him. As a manager, we are on call 24/7 and I can’t tell you the times that I was in scrubs getting ready to leave the house, when Randall would call and tell me to stay home. He would say, “well sure … (long and drawn out), I got this so you stay home and BBQ or something, cause you work all week”. I never doubted that “he had it”, because he wasn’t shy about telling me when he didn’t. The patients’ safety and betterment was always his priority. 3rd Floor is a better place because of our champion, Randall Brown. He took ownership, mentored new staff and was instrumental in achieving a new staffing grid for the floor. When everyone else would give up on a new Nurse and tell me “they are not going to make it”, I would ask him to precept that person. I can tell you that after a few weeks with Randall, he would have them functioning like a modern age, Florence Nightingale. I’m not kidding! He was a teacher, a lover of people and a beautiful person. Goodness how I adored him and oh we will miss him, so!

Randall has been a dear friend for more than 30 years. I have had the pleasure of knowing his family and even Raja, their tame bull. We have had so many fun times together through the years, both professionally and personally, even when he accidentally sent a ping pong paddle flying through my sunroom window. He was always there when anyone called. Every time any one of us needed to move something, Randall came to the rescue. We were honored to have Randall as a pallbearer for my brother Rick. There will never be, in my mind, a more gentle, caring man than Randall Brown. Lori, we're here for you and love you.

Randall was the best of the best. The best of us all. Great nurse, mentor and friend to all. He was the glue that held the 3rd floor together at TRMC. He will be missed. He always had a smile on his face and would go out of his way to help others. I will never look at a rice krispie treat the same, it will always remind me of Randall and how he touched our lives. With a heavy heart I say goodbye. My thoughts and prayers are with "Sugar" and the rest of his family. We love you Randall.

Although I only had the privilege of working with Randall for six years, he renewed my passion for nursing. He wore many hats at Titus including mentor, teacher, coach, joker, leader, nurturer and patient advocate. He left a legacy of ethical, moral and compassionate care that I pray his coworkers will carrry on in his memory. We love you Randall and you will be truly missed.

Randall, you will be missed at TRMC hospital so much. It has been almost a year since you had to quit full time because of your illness. Randall always had a smile and he shared it with all that was around him. He made a special coffee/ his own mix/ and shared snacks with the nurses on 2nd. One night when I had to go to the lab, passing through the cardiac floor where he charge nursed, I saw a RN charting on the computer. He looked somber, so I said," Are we having fun yet?" He looked up and said, "Randall is not here tonight, you sound just like him." He always had a light that shined, he shared it with not only his co workers, but his patients and friends. He always lit up when talking about his beloved "Sugar". We will miss him here, but we know heaven will be a brighter place because he will be there with his shining light.

Randall was always smiling, and he brought smiles to everyone who was around him. It has been a joy to know him and to work with him at TRMC as a fellow nurse. One night, I went to the cardiac unit on the way to the lab and saw a young RN charting, I asked, "Are we having fun yet?" and he said. Randall is not here tonight. .. but you sound just like him. Randall used to make a special coffee mix and bring it to our floor for us, he brought a light not only to us but to his patients and all who knew him. We love you Randall and we will miss you, but we know heaven will be brighter because of your light that you Always let SHINE.

Randall was certainly deserving of being honored previously as the Titus Regional Medical Center Employee of the Year. He was such an amazingly talented and compassionate individual and my heart is so saddened that he was taken from us so soon. His wonderful personality and smile will definitely be missed here at TRMC - we loved him dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his beloved "Sugar", who he always bragged about.

My condolences go out to Randall's family. His sister, Katrina, and I have been friends since high school and I remember him well from visits to their house back in those days. He was a very sweet younger brother. I have the family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Randall has my best friend since more than twenty years; he has my aunt Kathryn and uncle Rick's friend. Randall would come down the street for aunt and uncles' house was three blocks down from Randalls' photography studio; as matter of fact he did my aunt and uncles' wedding.
So I starting coming over to his studio, being an adolescent I just had a blast coming over and looking at his photos.
Then he decided to get into nursing and that is when he met Lori.
Unfortunately, I had moved to Little Rock so I did not see him as much and I did not get to Lori's wedding.
Lori was working odd hours so I did get to see her as much as I did Randall. Courtney, I wish I could have known you better; but times goes on... So Lori,Courtney,Jeff,Kathy:family & friends; I do not want to lose this connection as friends.
For All of Friends,
Coleman McCoy
