Ray Gene was a family friend from childhood back to the days on Martine street in the Avondale neighborhood of Texarkana. It made my brother, Teddy, so happy when he came all the way down to Lindale to visit Teddy in the nursing home not long before Teddy died. I regret that my health prevents me from coming to Texarkana to Ray's funeral. May your faith in God sustain all of you through this sad time.
