Ray P. Wells, 81 of Ashdown, AR. passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Wells was born August 30, 1931 in Hartley, AR. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Mr. Wells was a retired meat cutter as well.
Survivors are his wife Phyllis Wells of Ashdown, AR; four daughters and sons-in-law Wanda and Ken Steele of Gann, OK., Kitty Butler of New Port, VT., Cindy and Rick Denton of Mena, AR. and Penny Wells of Mena, AR; one son and daughter-in-law Jimmy
and Lana Wells of Heavner, OK; one brother Jerry Wells of Mena, AR; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
