He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ron Halter and David Halter.
Survivors include sister in law, Cyndi Halter; aunt Anna Harris and a host of cousins.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
