He graduated from Arkansas High School and was an avid fan of the Arkansas High School Razorbacks. He called them his "Little Hogs" as he played trumpet in the high school band. He was a life time fan also of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks.

Mr. Higginbotham was preceded in death by his father, (Red) R. L. Higginbotham and mother, Ina Mae Higginbotham; and one sister, Jean Jones.

He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Larry and Judy Bowman and one brother, Tim Higginbotham, all of Texarkana, AR.

Other survivors are two nieces, Connie Glass of Hooks, TX and Kristin Sledge of Conway, AR and four nephews, Greg Crabtree of Hughes Springs, TX and Jeremy Higginbotham of Greenbriar, AR, Tracy Jones of Texarkana and Shad Jones of McKinney, TX; and a number of great nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Sylverino Cemetery.

Come and go visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 1 to 4 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
