

Ricky Don Nichols went to be with his Heavenly Father November 20, 2009Born into this world August 30, 1953, to Billy Charles and Doris Kay Nichols.He was long time member of Hickory Street Baptist Church and former member of South Texarkana Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his pappy, Raymond Nichols, grandson Lavaren Gullatt, Jr., beloved father in law Jerry Finney, brother in law Carl Sanford and nephew Chris Sanford and special brother in law James A. Edwards.He leaves behind his cherished wife of 35 years Brenda ( Deanna) , two loving daughters Amanda Beth Nichols and Heather Renee Gullatt, his son in law Lavarren Gullatt, and two precious grandsons Calvin Nichols Gullatt and Warren Gullatt.He is survived by his loving Uncle Don Barrow. His parents Billy Charles Nichols, Sr. and Doris Kay Nichols. Two brothers that he loved dearly, Billy Charles Nichols, Jr & Patti and Jimmy Ray Nichols & Patty, one niece Madison and two nephews Brian and Justin. He also leaves behind his loving mother in law Joyce Finney, two brothers in law David Sanford and Phillip Sanford & Dee, two sisters in law Dianne Edwards and Kathy Sanford. His nephews and nieces are Stephanie and Andy Campbell and Michael & Jack Campbell. Anthony and Katrina Sanford and their children Denise Sanford and Jacob.Kari Elizabeth Sanford and Blake and Beau sanford. His special sisters in law Mary Ann Kennedy and Jackie Sanford Foxworthy.He loved his running buddies Mike Cherry and Jimmy Chapman and he treasured his Sunday School Class. He will be missed by so many people. He touched everyone that crossed his path. His family, church, and his family at dialysis. We are better for knowing him.The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday night at East Funeral Home-Downtown.Memorial Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hickory Street Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Reed and Rev.
