I started teaching at CHJH in 1986. I had recently graduated from college and was new to the profession. Mr. Fitz took me under his wing. He was so caring and supportive. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. We shared some great laughs. God bless him. Prayers for your family.

I am so sad to hear of Mr. Fitz’s passing. He was one of my favorite teachers. I always remember him covering his face in his hand when something was funny. He was a great teacher and I’ve thought of him often through the years. Prayers to your family!

I remember the FitzRandolph family reunions. Robert and I would grow bored with the group stories that we had heard again and again at each reunion and sneak out to play with the other cousins. May he rest easy now with the Lord.

I attended CHJH, from 1983-1986. Mr. Fitz was a wonderful science teacher. He was kind, unmoved and basically humored us all. He was probably the calmest teacher we had. May his memory bring joy to all who loved and knew him. My condolences to his family.

Me Fitz was absolutely the coolest teacher I’ve ever had. He’s the reason why I love science so much and I passed that love down to my son. I owe all of my knowledge, love and accomplishments to you. Thank you Mr. Fitz and you will be missed and yes science is everywhere.

May the Lord keep you close in his comfort during this difficult time. I knew Robert from growing up days, at school and as my son's excellent teacher in school. He was a smart and good man. I am sorry to hear of his passing. You all will be in my prayers.
