She is reunited in death with her beloved husband James Gardner Bell, sisters Wilma Ruth Torbert, Billie Jean Griffith, and Christine Joy Ray, brothers Arlie Ray Brown and Dale Edward Brown, niece Joyce Ann Hart, and nephew Dennis Ray Haynie.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Sinyard Ferguson, grandson Lynn Garrett, granddaughter-in-law Patricia Garrett, sister-in-law Alma Goff, nieces Patricia McLelland and Denise DeAngelo, nephews James Ronnie Haynie, Jeff Hart, and Allen & Jennifer (wife) Puryear, and special friends Barbara Scroggins and Evelyn Gibson.
Shirley was a passionate gardener, finding joy in nurturing her plants, loved cooking heartfelt meals for her family, and dedicated over 20 years to Tyson foods in the accounting department, where her precision shone. A devoted member of the Church of Christ, she found strength in her faith” Her light will forever shine in our hearts.
