Shirley A. Green, 80 of Texarkana, TX passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in a local hospital. She was born on February 10, 1935 in Texarkana, TX. Mrs. Green was a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church, on the board of directors at Domino Federal Credit Union and an employee of Hospice of Texarkana.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wylie Green.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Annette McGee of Texarkana, TX and Mike McGee of Texarkana, TX: grandson Brian McGee of Baton Rouge, LA.
Funeral service will be 10am Friday, August 28, 2015 at Buchanan First Baptist Church with Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Thursday, August 27, 2015 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
In lieu of flowers and food, donations can be made to Hospice of Texarkana or Randy Sams Shelter.
