I met Steve Hunter when I worked at KCMC from May 1985-Sept. 1987. For 13 months, I worked the Midnight-6 Am shift. At the end of his shift, he would always say, I 'm going home and see what the neighbors chunked food to his dogs. He was a very nice man.

I listened to Steve many years on KCMC. I always could call and he would play my request. I later met him & his lovely wife. He was a good man. He will be missed! RIP Steve Hunter!
