Thomas Patrick McClain

Thomas Patrick McClain, 62, of Jefferson, TX passed away November 27, 2013 in Jefferson, TX. Mr. McClain was born April 25, 1951 in Huntsville, TX. Pat was a man who loved life and family. He loved animals and leaves behind his dog, T.J. Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with friends and family. He always greeted with a smile and always had a joke or story to tell. He was a true character with a heart as big as Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Howard McClain and a special uncle, Delbert Harold McClain and recently by aunt Betty Hubbert and uncle David Blount.

Survivors include his mother, Kathryn McClain of Jefferson, TX; sons and daughters in-law, Jason and Michelle McClain of Texarkana, Scott and Aliesa McClain of Box Elder, TX and James and Vanessa McClain of Leander, TX; grandchildren, Cody McClain, Kaimen McClain, Hanna McClain, Rylee McClain, Reagan McClain, Lukas McClain, Kylie McClain and Jessie McClain; sisters and brother-in-law, Paula and Jim Mixson of Austin, TX, Judy McKinney of Texarkana, Libby Greening of Jefferson, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Louise McClain of Paris, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Don Hutto of Hallsville, TX; sister, Bobi Pulce of Jefferson, TX; and brother, George McClain of Bivens, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A gathering for friends and family will be held January 4, 2014 from 11 A.M. - 2 P.M. at the Jefferson Church of Christ, Hwy 49, Jefferson, TX.

Cremations arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.
