My prayer are with his family. We had many laughs at bingo. No matter where he was he never met a stranger. Always joking around. Smokey you will be missed deeply.

Mr. Big Smokey was precious. Brian and my son, Sawyer, played on the same baseball team and I can’t even tell you how much I enjoyed standing with him, talking, cracking jokes, and laughing so hard during those games. He’d yell, “That’s my grandson!” Those games will be quiet without him there, and I will miss him every time Brian is up to bat. Smokey—my heart aches for you. I know your hurt too well and I promise...when I pray for my heart to heal, I’ll pray for yours too.

Big Smokey was the last of a dieing breed , he never met a stranger and could make you laugh even when you felt like crying . The memories I have of him are ones I’ll treasure for the rest of my life , he loved his family more than anything in this world and treated me like family since my brother married little Smokey . Love You Big Smokey until we meet again !

Big Smokey was one of a kind , he never met a stranger and could make you laugh even on the worst days . This world won’t be the same without him here but knowing we all have the opportunity to see him on the other side makes it a little easier . Go Rest Easy Big Smokey until we meet again Love You !
