I’m not sure where to begin to express our condolences to someone whose family has been a part of our lives all these years.
Larry, you and Tish were a source of strength and comfort during one of the most difficult times of our lives when Beth was diagnosed and treated for Leukemia. I guess I’ll never understand how anyone can make it through such difficult times without faith in our Father and the loving support of a faithful church family.
I remember when you would lead a prayer that you called Beth “our little Beth”. That meant so much to us. And Tish was always so gracious to bring food, not just a dish but a complete meal for our family.
And who can forget the fun times at those church league softball games! I can’t fail to thank you for graciously opening your home for several New Year Eves’ fun and games after you men had bruised the boys’ egos in basketball. Not to mention those church barbecues when Tish would bring some unusual wild game to throw on the grill! She certainly made things interesting!!!
Our thoughts and prayers along with our love are with you and your family.

Larry & Family,
Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I remember Tish at family reunions or when we would stop by on our way through Texarkana. She had a spark to her that was truly unique. Tish was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Tish, was everyone’s one of a kind friend. She was like a mom a sister and your ride or die friend all wrapped up into one. She was a care taker of people.....of everyone whether you knew it or not. She loved adventure and passed that on to her sweet family. She got me out of my box the day we rode horses to lunch at CJ’s (where Applebee’s is located) she tied the horses up outside and walked in like a western movie. Tish lived in the moment and brought you along with her with lots of laughter. Larry Laura Mason and Skipper thanks for sharing your mom with all of us. Mur to her Grands and Greats Aunt Tish to her Nephews and Nieces will always be a bigger than life memory full of love Im absolutely positive. Praying for comfort as you adjust to life here without Tish Mur Love Martha Garrett.

I worked for Dr. Peebles for over 25 years and my memory of Tish is when the office was on Rhozine Street a baby squirrel fell from a tree in front of office and we called Tish.. She came right up to the office and got that little thing and took it home and cared for it. She loved nature. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.

Our hearts are sadden to hear of Tish’s passing. I met Tish while attending Harding in 1959. My future husband, Herman McHan & I were in Tish & Larry’s wedding in 1960 Tish made my bridesmaid dress. Years later, their hospitality was enjoyed as we made our way to visit our son in Houston. We love this couple..

Tish was one of the sweetest ladies I know & that I have ever worked for doing her horses some 20 something years. When I went up to the house to pick up check she always gave me a jar or two of something that she canned. Praying for Larry, Phil & rest of family!
