Tommy Rutherford Jr.

William Thomas Rutherford, Jr., 63, of Texarkana, AR passed away May 1, 2012 in a local hospital. Mr. Rutherford was born March 31, 1949 in Texarkana, AR. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army; a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church; Elks Lodge; and retired from International Paper.

Survivors include his daughters Cindy Rutherford of Dallas, TX and Lissa Wilson of Texarkana, AR; sons, Khanh Rutherford of Dallas, TX and Billy Rutherford and his wife Nichole of Twin Falls, ID; sister, Bernice Timmons of Springdale AR and Gloria Tutt of Oscar, LA; brother, Gary Rutherford of Texarkana, AR; 4 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Old Rondo Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
