Vera Mae Watson

Vera Mae Watson, 93, of Texarkana, AR, passed away December 24, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Watson was born August 16, 1919 in Hollywood, AR. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas where she was a member of the Montgomery Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Watson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Genevieve and Roger Burtchell of Texarkana; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Waymond Adair of Plano, TX; sisters-in-law, Sara Galloway of St. Louis, MO and Sue Tull of Concord, TN; grandson, James Burtchell and his fiancée, Emily Franden of Austin, TX; granddaughters and their spouses, Angela and Philip Hague of Lewisville, TX and Amanda and Hank Bergt of Texarkana, TX; great grandchildren, Avery Galluci of Lewisville, TX and Peyton Bergt of Texarkana; and great grandchildren to be born December 31, 2012, twins, Layla and Lincoln Hague of Lewisville, TX; plus several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Arkadelphia, AR with Revs. Bruce Bennett and Bob Langley officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
