She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Lavender; her son, Roger Lee Lavender; her parents, Clyde and Bertha Cooper; and three sisters, Marjorie, Hazel and Valery.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Rick and Kathy Lavender of Austin, TX and Dennis Lavender of Washington, AR; granddaughters, Riki Curtaz of Portland OR and Terri Linder of Georgetown, IN; grandson, L. Wayne Lavender of Jeffersonville, IN; 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Linda Ann Petty of Corpus Christi, TX.
Memorial Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday July 17th, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.
