William H. "Bill" Chandler

William H. "Bill" Chandler, 89, of Texarkana, TX passed away February 23, 2012 in a local hospital. Mr. Chandler was born September 1, 1922 in Texarkana. Mr. Chandler was retired after 35 years from Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a WWII veteran. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty Lee Chandler of Texarkana, TX; daughter, Sr. Mary Charlotte Chandler, RSCJ of St.Louis, Mo., sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. David W. Chandler II and Karen of Livermore, CA; Warren Lee Chandler and Clarissa of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; and William H. Chandler, Jr. and Elsie of Milpitas, CA; and 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 am Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Xavier Pappu officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Family will receive friends Monday, February 27, 2012 from 7:00-8:30 P.M.(Prayer Service from 7:00-7:30) at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
