After graduating high school, Will enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving his country for over 3 years, and rising to the rank of LCPL. After the Marines, Will worked various jobs to include working for McDonald Douglas for 8 years, building parts for aircrafts. He often joked, saying, "I wouldn't fly on one of those planes, I built the parts for it." Will left McDonald Douglas and started the job that he loved most of all (besides being a Marine), he hit the open road as a truck driver for CRST and Crete Carriers. This was a job that he loved and would tell so many stories about.
Will was a member of Corner Pointe Assembly of God.
