Trey graduated from Arkansas High School in 2010 where he was involved in many activities including being the Razorback mascot.
He was an Eagle Scout and a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church Texarkana, Arkansas. Trey was also an accomplished pianist. His favorite activity was spending time with many friends and his family.
He was an avid Razorback fan who loved tailgating and was constantly surrounded by his many friends. It has been said that “everybody knows Trey Varner” and he was certainly loved by all who knew him. Trey had an infectious laugh and a magnetic personality. If you were lucky enough to have met him, you would never forget it. He will be forever missed.
Trey is survived by his parents Bill and Sandy Varner. He had a special bond with his Nanny and Poppy, Joyce and Bill Varner Sr., and was the center of their world. Other relatives include his maternal grandmother Jo Burnett; great aunt and uncle Tommy and Carrie Galloway; aunts and uncles Donna Burnett, Mary Jo and Danny Spicer, Robert Burnett, Cathy and Wayne Morrow; cousins Eddie and Farrah Spicer, Mandy Spicer, Joseph and Holly Morrow, Bradley Burnett, Greg Wright, Michael Morrow, Chelsea Wright, Curt and Leah Galloway, and Corrie Flora, as well as numerous others and too many special friends to mention.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013 at First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, AR with Rev. Bruce Bennett and Rev. Vida Williams officiating. Visitation will follow in the Cabe Center at First United Methodist Church, AR. Services are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
