Willie B. Vestal

Willie B. Vestal, 94 and long time resident of Doddridge Arkansas passed away on July 6, 2020 in an Atlanta, Texas nursing facility. She was born March 25, 1926 in Bradley, Arkansas to Will and Dovie Dailey. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Doddridge, Arkansas.

Survivors include one daughter; Linda Carol Smith of Brownsville, Texas and one daughter and son-in-law; Mary Ann and M.R. Duncan of Doddridge, Arkansas, one granddaughter; Cynthia Mercer (Rick) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and two grandsons; Jeff Smith (Arhonda) of Texarkana, Arkansas and Richard Blanton Brown (Susan) of Rogers, Arkansas, six great-grandchildren; Jeremy Brown, Kimberly Brown, Alyssa Smith, Tyler Henslee, Reece Mercer, and Joshua Brown, three Great-Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many special friends of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Doddridge, Arkansas.

She was pre-deceased by her husband and father of her two children, William Kelly Blanton, Jr. and her husband of 44 years, Hermit Vestal, stepfather to her children and two grandsons, James Kelly Brown and Rodney Wayne Patten.

The family will be at the home of M.R. and Mary Ann Duncan, 2512 MC 37, Doddridge, Arkansas.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Doddridge, Arkansas. Burial to follow in Mt. Zion cemetery with arrangements by East Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Doddridge, Arkansas.
