There are so many memories, Karen. I think of the two of you leaving for Michigan with your car packed, headed to a whole new life. I remember helping to make corsages for your wedding. I think of all the baking at Al’s home with Harriett and Loralee on Saturday afternoons which I know Al enjoyed!! I think of all the conversations and laughs Al and Gerald shared especially in the last few years before Gerald’s death. I think of the two of you as an inseparable couple, devoted to your Lord and Savior. You two together have made a huge difference in the lives of so many. Blessings and prayers to you.

Good night and pleasant dreams "Al" . Our family called him Al at home. When Al and I were young, we slept together in one small bed in a small bedroom over the garage in our big house. Every night when Al and I went to bed, before going to sleep, we would say to each other "good night and pleasant dreams" . GOOD NIGHT AND PLEASANT DREAMS, MY DEAREST BROTHER.

Papa was so present in the lives of his grandkids and I always felt so much love whenever we were with him. He always had a joke or a story to make us laugh and genuinely loved being around kids. He was always laughing, always trying to keep us happy and entertained. There are years worth of good memories to look back on. The last day I saw him he told me I had a pretty face, he was glad I was with him, and he loved me. I’ll never forget that.

So many memories growing up together. Alan always kept things interesting and active. I especially enjoyed our many times we gathered with Mom at so many different places and then our annual get togethers each summer after she went home to Heaven. I appreciate so much all he did for me and miss him. He is home with Dad and Mom and no longer suffering.

Alan and Karen came to visit us a few years ago when we moved to Orange County, Ca. We had so much fun showing them our new home and new town. This picture was taken at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, Ca. We had a wonderful lunch together laughing, telling stories and enjoying the beautiful view to the golf course and ocean. I’m a very lucky girl to have such supportive, caring and loving in-laws. ❤️ I’m going to miss you Alan!
