

Allison Mitchell Scribner of Magnolia, TX, passed away on August 10, 2026 at the young age of 45. She was born in Westfield, NJ on October 1, 1980. She graduated from Skidmore College, University of Wyoming, and Boston University with advanced degrees in Geology and Geochemistry. After graduating she moved to Houston to work as a geoscientist for ExxonMobil, spending 20 years as a Petrophysics specialist. During her career she worked on nearly every asset in the company’s portfolio spanning 6 continents, and was a respected expert in the Formation Evaluation discipline.
Allison was an avid lifelong Equestrian, with her love of horses beginning at summer camps at the age of 5. She was a member of the Skidmore College Riding team, and throughout the rest of her adult life actively competed and trained in the hunter-jumper circuit.
Allison was married to Quentin German on Cape Cod, MA on December 6, 2008, and they were together for over 20 years. In addition to a passion for horses, she loved all animals, especially Boxers. She and her husband rescued 11 boxers over 18 years, most of which were older and special needs dogs.
Allison is survived by her husband Quentin German of Magnolia, TX, and her parents Edwin and Karen Scribner of Sandwich, MA.
