Ann Shaver Barbe

Ann Shaver Barbe, resident of The Woodlands, passed away June 4, 2017. She was born July 18, 1928 in Beaumont, Texas. Survived by husband Louie J. Barbe, Jr.; sons, Scott Barbe and wife, Pam of Spring, Texas, Randall Barbe and wife, Kat of Rome, Georgia; sister, Pat Adams of Houston, Texas; brother, Doug Shaver and wife, Judy of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, one granddaughter, Michelle Clouse and grandsons, Michael and David Glenn, nieces, and nephews.

Ann was a charter member at Christ Church United Methodist. She attended Beaumont Texas High School and University of Houston where she was a member of Beta Chi (later Chi Omega) Sorority.

She was a devoted wife to Jack and mother to Scott and Randy and for many years served with the volunteer auxiliary of Rosewood Hospital. In later life, she very much enjoyed playing golf and was a member of The Woodlands Country Club.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel Mausoleum Building 1 on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
