Of The Woodlands
Annette DeGregory Marshall passed away peacefully in The Woodlands, with her loving family at her bedside.
Annette was born and raised in Bound Brook, NJ, and spent many years of her life in Middlesex, NJ. She resided in Branchburg, NJ for 20 years before relocating to The Woodlands in 1995. Annette retired from the former Union Carbide Corporation’s Bound Brook location. She also worked for the Middlesex Board of Education, where she served for a period as Secretary of the Board; thereafter, she was employed by the Bridgewater-Raritan school district.
Imbued with an uncompromising sense of compassion, Annette was involved with, and actively contributed to, over one dozen charities. Her concern for those less fortunate, combined with her unwavering love and devotion to family and friends, are the qualities for which she is most remembered.
Annette is predeceased by her parents, her husband, George; brother, Raymond DeGregory; and sisters Emma DeGregory, Gilda Droman, and Rose Fine. She is survived by her loving son, Randy, and her “second son,” Robert, both of The Woodlands; her brother, Peter DeGregory, of Middlesex, NJ; her sister, Jeanne Freuler, of Laguna Hills, CA, and many nieces and nephews.
A remembrance ceremony was held for Annette in The Woodlands on October 8. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Kidney Fund would be appreciated. For further information, please contact Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384; 936-273-4922.
