Barbara Dawn Angelopoulos, 59, of the Woodlands, Texas, passed away January 23, 2019. She was born in Santa Barbara, California, on October 24, 1959. Barbara graduated from Bonita Vista High School in Bonita Vista, California. She worked diligently to succeed as a Sales Manager in the automobile industry and became a pioneering woman in her field. Barbara was a trailblazer and mentor to many in her professional and personal life. She married her adoring husband, Peter Angelopoulos, of Queens, New York, on February 14, 2006. Barbara was a loving and devoted mother, a fun-loving force of nature, and a blessing to everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joy Igou and Tony Garrett. She is survived by her husband, Peter Angelopoulos; daughter, Amber Dawn Carrera; son, Dallas Mitchell Amos; granddaughter, Briana Joy Raney; step-daughter, Tara-Marie Tsouknidas, and her husband James; father, Gaynor Dan Igou, and his wife Margaret; sister Jessie Keith and her husband Ray; sister Sunny Leisinger and her husband Greg; sister Gayla Fillips and her husband Randy; many beautiful nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
