Ben was born on September 20, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, to Antonio and Maria Mula. Ben graduated Electronics school in NY and moved to Miami, FL. He started his apprenticeship with IBEW349, graduating in 1964. Shortly after graduating, he moved to Houston, TX, which was his home until 1987.
He married Linda Ruth Witt and had two daughters. After divorcing, he started traveling with work and moved to Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed boot scootin’ and adventure trips with longtime dance partner and girlfriend, Renee Nolting, with whom he was still great friends.
In 2005, Ben retired and moved back to The Woodlands. He was a Christian man, who spent many hours over his lifetime studying the Bible and attending Berachah Church, where he has been a member since 1967. The most important thing to Ben was making sure everyone had the opportunity to learn about Salvation through Christ. He wanted to make sure ALL of his family spent eternity together! He didn’t want ANYONE to be left behind. His entire life revolved around Bible Doctrine, and as he called them, his precious babies!
Elise Lacombe, Tatiana Torres, Isabella Prak, Tristan Flower, Landon Flower, his baseball buddy seven days a week: Sebastian Prak, Riley Flower, Frances Flower, Scarlett Prak, Jaxson Flower, and Margaret Flower, all who endearingly referred to him as Bubboo!
He loved living life, going on trips, climbing rope courses, playing baseball, and any family event or outing.
Ben is proceeded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. He leaves behind his daughters, Diana Torres, husband Oscar (Tatiana), and Angela Mula. And his grandchildren: Joshua Flower, wife Emily (Frances and Margaret), Heather Flower-Lacombe, husband Ryan (Elise), Caleb Flower, wife Shannon (Tristan, Landon, Riley, and Jaxson), and grandchild and best friend: Summer Flower-Prak, husband Dore’ (Isabella, Sebastian, and Scarlett).
Words cannot describe the loss of “our Bubboo.” He did so much for everyone, just trying to make life a little easier by helping in some way, whether it was lending a helping hand, consoling a heartbreak, needing Biblical strength, or just a hug. We love you… until we ALL meet again!
