She passed away on February 14, 2020 in The Woodlands, Texas after a long on and off battle with major health issues.
Billie attended Nederland High School and later Southern Texas State University. She was a real estate agent by profession. She married the love of her life, Brent Coon in 1995 and later lost him in 2005.
Even as a young child she had an outgoing and kind personality. She never met a stranger. Billie was generous to everyone she knew. She loved life and everyone in her circle fiercely and whole heartedly. She represented strong arms for those hurting and compassion for the weak. Billie was only a phone call away if she was needed. She spent her life dedicated to those around her. She was a warm hug after a hard day, the life and light of any gathering. Most importantly, Billie loved GOD with all of her heart and spread his word like a flaming torch through the darkness in this world until the LORD called her home.
Throughout her life she touched so many people and made significant impacts in their lives. Billie left this world and took a piece of each one of us with her. She is looking down upon us however and cheering on us. Although her worldly journey is over, she is looking over us from paradise and waiting to throw open the gates of heaven for us upon our arrival. She is happy and at peace. She would want us to find comfort in that and mend our broken hearts, for she is dancing again and is pain free in heaven with the LORD almighty!
Billie is survived by her daughter: Billie Sue Curtice-Pelzel (Zane). Granddaughters: Kloe Lopez, Ava Pelzel, Sisters: Carolyn Anne Martin (Charles), Laura Randall, Diane Hoersting (Steve), Belinda James and Lela Lee, Nieces: Melissa Lamb, Amberlie Hoersting, Brittany Hoersting. Nephews: Charles Martin Jr. and Brett Hoersting.
